Welcome to the season day: safety boat & rigging refresher
Has it been a while since you've been safety officer or race officer or rigged a boat or even sailed a dinghy?
This Saturday we are having a season opening day.
We'll be having a run through in the Yard of how to rig and a safety boat refresher either in the Clubhouse or on the water depending on conditions.
We can also have an RO run-through for those needing a reminder or wanting to learn.
And for anyone wanting a sail there will be safety cover on hand.
We will be at the club from 10am to 3pm.
Please come down whenever suits and we can get you started. We'll have food, snacks and hot drinks in the galley and the usual stunning views on tap.
A chance to come and admire all the improvements made to the club house over the winter too. No longer cash-only in the galley, as there is a card machine.
If any experienced members are available to help on Saturday, extra assistance will be gratefully received.
Finally, if those looking to come down could sign-up on Spond to give us an idea of numbers, that would be fantastic.
(more details on Spond can be found at the bottom of this mail)
Hope to see you there!
