What nonsense is this?

The inaugural 'All Star Craft Ale Dinghy Spill Shootout' is a brand new (possibly never-to-be-raced-again) race for our New Year Fling.

The rules are simple:

Get a pint of freshly poured craft ale (or soft drink) from the clubhouse, round the sailing mark, and back to the clubhouse.  Fastest wins, time penalties for spillage.

The race will start for all contestants at a designated time. The drink must leave, and be returned to the clubhouse in the (plastic) pint glass. You can use any boat, any number of team members, and any method to sail it to the mark and back. The glass will then be weighed and 1min will be added to the time for every 100g lost. Two minutes will be added if you lose the pint glass. 

So...  think you can sail single handed carrying a pint? Going to just drink the pint and run and sail as fast as possible?? Prizes to be had, but you'll need to share them with your team, and maybe you're up for taking the glory on your own? Surely a group of irresponsible adults will be the obvious choice? All to play for....
